Bold, ethical and extremely passionate about supporting people to maximise their potential. Currently working on behalf of the NHS within Medway Early Intervention clinical team supporting clients into work as part of their recovery. My previous experience has equipped me with a broad range of valuable skills and insight into different aspects of working with local communities and young people in various settings. This includes providing intensive one to one support for NEETs through mentoring as well as extensive experience working on the NCS (National Citizen Service) programme in a variety of roles ranging from delivery to crucial operational support.I am very interested to continue working with young people, local communities, local governments and/or the third sector and would welcome further opportunities to network and share good practice. In addition, I have experience of local government having been a local councillor for Thanet District Council where I managed a caseload of residents' concerns, represented the local community and championed the youth voice. I was also fortunate to Chair the Governance and Audit committee as well as be an active member of the Overview and Scrutiny panel and the Cabinet Advisory groups for Climate Change, and Housing and Homelessness. In my spare time I enjoy running of which I am a committed member of my local running club. I like to set challenges for myself and have raised money for various charities from taking part in 5ks to marathons.
