TCap Private Equity is focused on providing capital and operating capabilities for early-stage and seasoned companies. I worked with TCap and two of its portfolio companies to help improve operations and generate value.In my role as a Marketing Intern, I worked with HotelFurniture.com. At HotelFurniture.com, I created a social media branding and content strategy for the senior team, and worked on a website overhaul to generate leads and maximize conversions. Every week, I analyzed the site’s user engagement and presented insights and recommendations for improvement. Finally, I coordinated a paid search campaign and designed digital ads.In my role as a People Operations Intern, I worked with Neon. Neon's vision is to build a better world through purpose-driven products. This vision rallies, guides, and informs every part of the process – from an idea scribbled on a napkin to shipping a product. People, planet, and profits should thrive and grow together. This is how Neon does business. I supported Neon’s BCorp certification submission by initiating and completing the Accountability Profiles. I interviewed every team member to better understand their roles, wrote detailed profiles based on these interviews, and collaborated with Neon employees throughout the project. Once I’d synthesized the material, I wrote and presented my findings.
