Highly organised and detail-oriented, project coordination, process analysing, event management and client services are my strengths. With over ten years of experience within the retail, hospitality and event sectors, I pride myself on delivering exceptional experiences every time and use my initiative to problem-solve and find the right solution for each client. Resourceful and adaptive, I thrive on new challenges. My administrative and organisational skills are second to none, and I have successfully implemented new processes and systems to streamline and increase operational efficiency in several of my past positions. Incredibly fast-learning with an almost photographic memory, I have an innate ability to navigate new software/programs with ease. I have then used that knowledge to train new hires, creating manuals and user guides to assist in the future.I am comfortable in all forms of work environments and have experience working remotely. I enjoy being part of a team but am also capable of working autonomously. Previous experience as a self-employed freelance contractor led to my involvement with various Trusts within the Whitianga area. Assisting with organising the pōwhiri and other events for the Tuia 250 celebration in 2019, being part of the team that created Bubble Bites in 2020 (an online performing arts series established to help connect our creatives in our region with their audiences remotely during the first lockdown), and coordinating and running a successful buskers festival in February 2021, are my main highlights.I was also involved in a voluntary capacity with the Whitianga Residents & Ratepayers Association and helped form a new Trust whose purpose is to plan, establish, maintain and operate a much-needed waste reduction and recycling centre in Whitianga. I enjoy working on projects that are community-driven and like to give back where I can.
