About Kerstin Tebbe

I'm focused on systems change, particularly through networks, which have been my long-term passion. As such, I have designed and led multi-stakeholder change processes at global, regional, and organizational levels for many years. I am passionate about empowering people to create the change they want to see. I'm focused on how change happens – behavioral change, organizational change, social change – and the models, processes, and tools that can effectively facilitate that change. As the founder of Collective Mind, I work with networks around the world to build their capacities and increase effectiveness and impact. For our learning community of network leaders and managers, I design and deliver learning and training opportunities to help them improve their practice. I lead a small team to build the company strategically and operationally. During almost 7 years working for a global multi-stakeholder network from 2008-2014, I built regional and global programs and eventually served on the senior management team. I achieved results by developing and executing strategies to coordinate across relevant actors, understand needs and interests, and link those to strategic goals, which were often established via consensus-building processes that I designed and led. The network’s membership expanded exponentially and broadened in scope during my tenure. As an independent consultant, I supported global clients to facilitate change efforts within complex settings and with multiple stakeholders at all levels. I supported networks and multi-stakeholder initiatives including the IASC Global Education Cluster, the Cash Learning Partnership (CaLP), the Whole of Syria Education Cluster, and the Lake Victoria Basin Commission with organizational analysis, strategy design, program review, capacity building, and facilitation. While I have focused most of my career in the international development and humanitarian response spaces, I’m interested in nontraditional approaches to change across all sectors and industries.
