My core responsibilities :•Perform drawing and detailing tasks required by engineers, using computing draughting packages such as AutoCAD;•Concrete detailing of structural elements using computer packages such as AutoCAD and PADDS;•Performing calculations and checks based on information provided by the design engineer;•Check compliance of drawings and details with the applicable South African standards and Codes of Practice;•Checking of drawings and compliance with office QMS protocol; and•Issuing of drawings for construction.
