During tenure as interim CEO (6 months), stock for Alter NRG rose over 50%.Company accomplishments during tenure as CEO:o Reorganized the company, successfully phased-out CEO and defined core team for strategy execution with immediate financial results.o Sold non-core assets including a coal reserve in Alberta for $5 million and a geothermal business for $5 million.o Developed strategy to become cash flow positive which has brought the Company from an operating loss of $6.6 million in 2011 to expected cash flow positive in 2014.o Developed a global marketing plan to capitalize on opportunities in multiple countries, including the implementation of a licensing strategy which led to a defensible backlog of $350 million.o Initiated senior management changes and oversaw the search for a new CEO. SGC Advisors, LLC, is a company formed to create value through providing strategic guidance, raising capital, and developing intellectual property in the water and wastewater, renewable energy industries.• Negotiated and purchased intellectual property from EnerTech in 2013.• Formed a global team, including ex-EnerTech insiders, to package IP, enhance patent positions, find perspective buyers, and then run a sales process which is expected to conclude in 1st quarter 2014.• Worked with BCR Environmental, Inc. 2011-2012, hired by the CEO to raise $10 million in corporate equity. This represented the company’s first institutional round. Organized and ran the process without an investment bank. Successfully closed the entire round with two leading institutions in the water space.o With BCR defined and developed strategies for markets including the U.S., China, U.K., and South America. Efforts focused on detailed market segmentation including detailed market strategies for the SE United States, the United Kingdom, and Chile.o Assisted in defining the marketing versus the sales function, including processes which reduced the municipal sales cycle from 24 plus months to around 12 months.o Developed the corporate brand which became nationally recognized.
