Kevin is a Consultant Leader for the Buckinghamshire Learning Trust. He is currently leading the l team of advisors who supporting the sixty seven primary schools North Buckinghamshire. He is currently leading the l team of advisors who supporting the sixty seven primary schools North Buckinghamshire. The team maintains an overview of the standards of these schools and provides intensive support where standards are at risk, specific training is required or where schools have had a critical Ofsted judgement. The team are currently supporting two schools judged to require Special measures and a number of schools where Ofsted have judged they Require Improvement. Kevin oversees this support by acting as review officer and chairing meetings where each schools progress towards becoming securely Good is monitored.As part of the Consultant Leader role Kevin has been interim Executive Headteacher of a large Buckinghamshire Primary School.Kevin both delivers support from within the School Improvement team and broker support from good or outstanding schools and from external consultants. In his first two years in this post Kevin had reposnibility for Inclusion, Partnership and Innovation. Within this Kevin line managed Buckinghamshire's Pupil Referral Units and had county wide responsibility for Behaviour and Inclusion.From 2011 Kevin led the team giving support to schools in North Buckinghamshire.As part of this role Kevin initiated, developed and led the ASPIRE programme to improve the outcomes for young people in central Aylesbury. During his time in this post Kevin:- led on curriculum and timetable, planning the curriculum and managing Heads of Department- led on Pastoral and Inclusion, developed and led a range of initiatives to increase the engagement and outcomes for students and line managed the pastoral team- was a member of the management committee of the Oxfordshire Pupil Referral Unit

From 1999-2002 Kevin had a 0.2 secondment to quality assure the courses offered by the Oxford City 16+ consortium

During this time Kevin published two books:The Language of the Media Volumes 1 and 2 ( Oxford 1986) ( Co-author with Chris David)Knowledge about Language ( London, 1991)From 1987-89 he had a 0.2 secondment to work on the Oxford Certificate of Educational Achievement.
