Sr. Director Of Engineering
Current* Develop the Smarsh Infrastructure & Operations strategy and roadmap, and ensure its integration with the overall Technology/enterprise strategic plans* Responsible for infrastructure architecture, performance, availability, incident, capacity, configuration, and change-management processes and for the tools to support required uptime and available SLAs*Lead the design, development, operation, and support of infrastructure systems, including the full life cycle of technical architecture, infrastructure operations and Technology for a world-class multi-tenant SaaS platform servicing customers in highly-regulated industries* Develop and maintain Smarsh’s sourcing strategy for data center infrastructure and provide strategic oversight for vendor/partner relationship management* Manage daily operations for on premise infrastructure, including , >150PB of enterprise storage, network, servers, and database/applications related equipment. Also responsible for cloud spend for a hybrid-cloud environment* Build high-performing, knowledge-centered data center infrastructure and database engineering teams. Use best-practice processes and systems to deliver on goal consistently and predictably* Identify business process and practices that can be improved and develop service improvement plans that achieve these results* Manage third-party vendor relationships and service contracts to augment the internal service delivery capabilities* Manage all Technology infrastructure related projects using rigor, planning, and risk-proof deliverables to ensure that adverse outcomes are minimized* Drive the development and implementation of enterprise technology standards, governance processes and performance metrics to ensure Technology delivers value to the enterprise* Develop and maintain short- and long-term budgetary projections and plans for the Technology infrastructure activities and ensure its consistency with overall company objectives and plan
