Supported a test automation framework written in C# that ran in Visual Studio using Selenium and API developed tests cases with the job execution and scheduling occurring in Jenkins. This framework was created for the test coverage of a largescale Master Data Management application focused on item data. This support included the execution, and debugging of Application Regression Sweeps, smoke tests, BVT’s and E2E collection connectivity tests as well as the update and writing of those test cases for various features and releases of that application. During this time I also supported multiple business driven E2E test efforts with Collection connectivity, data setup and debugging.

Tested front end, back end systems and mobile apps of a major e-commerce site with data relations to physical stores. Testing encompassed production support, Small projects, large projects and Capital Expenditure projects in Agile, Waterfall. Executed testing as sole tester, as part of a small team or large team and also as a test lead. Testing included both manual and automation test case execution including writing of both.

I have worked on several Outsourced/ In-House contracts as a Software Tester/Consultant for Volt subsidiary VMC. The largest Project was an in-house application that involved testing a very complex Web front end connected to a large Database back End. Created a test outline framework and complete set of Test Cases for the application. My testing included Compatibility (OS, Browsers), Usability, Functionality, Content, and Stress Testing, etc. Also tested a series of Microsoft applications for bugs caused by language localization. These applications were outsourced to VMC from Microsoft for Testing by Volt. Testing was performed across 5 languages and 10 Operating systems. Testing specifically for bugs caused by the longer string lengths of foreign languages. Was given a complete Set of Test Cases to follow by MS. Both Projects required working very closely with small team’s of 2 to 4 people. Other projects/efforts of smaller scale also occurred during this time.

Software Test Engineer Level 2 Temporary Testing Position at Microsoft in US-BED Application Compatibility Desktop testing Win98 and Win2000 operating systems pre and post release. Tested Consumer Software for compatibility Issues on the Windows 2000 Workstation platform. Testing ranged from a clean install of Win2000, a 9x migration and NT4 upgrade. Testing included application debugging via a Kernel debugger and nightly stress automation execution. Testing occurred as part of a large team. Software testing included Antiviral Software, Backup Software, multiple Database systems (SQL, Access), Web Authoring Tools (MS Visual Interdev), Image Editing, DTP applications, various Office software suites, as well as in house SMORG apps. NT4 setup and configuration, Win2000 setup and configuration, unattended setup, Digital (Dec) Alpha machine Setup, New hardware/peripheral installation, Basic Network Troubleshooting.
