I am an experienced trial attorney, serving as an in-house senior counsel for Allstate Insurance. Formerly, I worked as outside counsel for governmental institutions and hospitals. I have a wealth of experience in civil litigation and the unique experience of having formerly been a plaintiff's attorney, so I understand the varied perspectives, strategies and nuances inherent in litigating and negotiating a civil case. From my time as a criminal prosecutor through my role as a civil attorney, I have taken over 100 cases to trial and have resolved countless more through various alternative dispute resolution. My 1st chair trial experience and my ability to manage a case from initial pleadings, through discovery, mediation/arbitration, trial and beyond sets me apart from many of my contemporaries. Beyond the courtroom, I believe that the legal and business sides of a client's interest must always be considered together and that a dedication to communication and process are essential to achieve the best outcome for one's client.
