Performed over 1250 preventative maintenance tasks associated with AN/BQQ-10, AN/BSY-1, AN/BQQ-5, and US NAVY towed array handling systems.• Worked with Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Engineers, Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) In-Service Engineering Agents, and both public and private shipyards, to oversee the performance of numerous pre-overhaul availability testing requirements for US Submarines ensuring failures were adequately identified and repaired during shipyard availabilities.• Utilizing 5S methodology principles, managed a test equipment pool of 75 items valued at over $150,000.00.• Generated, tested, and evaluated ten new preventative maintenance tasks associated with US Navy SONAR systems resulting in improved safety conditions for personnel with updated testing locations, failure requirements, and testing conditions. Eliminated outdated maintenance tasks that often lead to the misidentification of faulted components and cost the US NAVY several thousand dollars per failure.• Trained 30 divisions (consisting of 12-15 personnel) on troubleshooting, maintenance, and retest requirements, and test equipment usage culminating in over 2000 hours of on-the-job training.• Through extensive troubleshooting and repair efforts, while providing failure analysis of the lowest replaceable components in a system, was able to prevent the US Navy from contracting unwarranted repairs to outside agencies and supply chains totaling over 4.3 million dollars.
