Oversaw the State Energy Program Manager and implemented energy conservation programs and projects. Provided input to major construction projects for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) compliance. Provided oversight and coordination to subordinate branches which included: the Environmental Branch, Construction and Design Branch, Resource Management Branch, Property, Planning and Programming Branch, and State Contracting Branch. Was responsible for the facility sustainment repair budget (federal and state funds) management. Concurrently served as the Commander, 224th Combat Engineer Battalion. Responsible for all aspects of leading, training, mobilizing, and deploying, of a Combat Engineer Battalion.
