NEW UPDATE - 2020- Coming up on 40 Years now in the Automotive Manufacturing and 25 years in business for myself with Excel Rp Inc / Excel Global llc. For the First 15 years I was the entry level guy on at the bottom - Sheet metal expansions Plaster Punch and Dies, to the Laminate Shop for RTM Molds and Layups, to Journeyman Die Model Maker and then on to leadership roles and Managment of many different companies etc etc . The Next 10 years were in landing and Managing prototype and Production Injection Mold Tooling all over the world for All OEM's and Tier 1 s. Also owned and participated in the SLA / SLS / FDM world early on. Now to the last 10 years - 2010 to 2020 - This has been my most exciting time in business - I have a passion to assemble teams of independent companies that have the same desire as I, to see New Technology Advance to Main Stream Production - I have a Vision that I have been working towards for 10 years now, Thanks to Ford, Who orginally approached me with a request to set up a Detroit area New Technology Center. After 5 years of seeking Top Global Companies to co locate thier equipment and technical people in 1 facility, with other like minded top companies - We Finally made it a reality in 2015 with thanks to Andrea Savonucci and Aesse Investments - Andrea agree to fund the SA Engineering Center Start up with no booked business - A expensive start up with 200t / 660t / 1000t / 1650t / 3500t / all new Engels -This was phase 1 of my strategy and that facility has been operational since 9/2016 - Every OEM and Tier 1 has visited SAE to discuss or see new technologies being demonstrated and validated in a production cell - Phase 1 completed - I am excited to be moving on to set up Phase 2 - advanced tooling / Advanced Machining / 3d printing - all co located independent companies 1 mile from SAE demonstration and validation center - and I am working on Phase 3 - a true production plant partner not to compete with our customers - but help supprt them in thier desire to launch in thier own plants what we the Circle of Innovative companies have developed / demonstrated & Validated - This is my new exciting next step in completing a vision I am passionate about -
