Technical Lead supporting the Oracle based Retail Merchandising System (RMS) and associated internal custom applications for the Abercrombie & Fitch Co. brands. Our application suite is utilized throughout every step of the retail life-cycle. From initial sourcing of raw materials through the final sale to a customer, we are the system of record for all transaction and financial data.Daily Responsibilities:- Support production and non-production environments to ensure internal and external customer Service-Level Agreements are met- Participate in all Agile Scrum ceremonies as the vocal leader to the development team- Coordinate and support monthly recurring production deployments for production defects and application enhancements- Supervise a team of technical leads and developers, approximately 10 people, across multiple large scale projects and daily application supportNotable Projects:- Technical lead on an $8M project for the Merchandising System with the introduction of a new concept, Social Tourist, and the reintroduction of a former Abercrombie & Fitch Co. brand, Gilly Hicks.- Lead development team on an $8M project for the implementation of a new Merchandise Planning system and migration of functionality to the Merchandising SystemProject Responsibilities Include:- Primary liaison between the development team and business owners to design and deliver multiple custom, internal applications that support the Merchandising and Planning organizations- Design custom Oracle database tables to support all core and custom Merchandising applications- Partner with other technical teams to coordinate deployment release schedule over the duration of multi-year projects- Collaborate with business partners to turn defined requirements into user stories and technical tasks- Utilize SQL skills to support testing, understand data structures, and write technical designs

- Manage Inventory Control team (four team members) of all daily inventory functions and accounting operations- Analyze monthly/quarterly Balance Sheet and P&L fluxes, providing detailed explanations to senior management for internal and external reporting- Prepare annual, seasonal, and monthly budget/projection for gross margin accounts and analyze expense results- Completed all documentation for annual International Statutory Audits of Inventory accounts and fielded all external audit questions related to International Inventory- Work cross-functionally with Store Operations, Supply Chain, International Distribution, and IT to identify process improvement opportunities and execute solutions in order to increase operational flexibility- Responsible for reconciling multiple financial accounts and performing period-end close procedures- Business Lead responsible for integration of Oracle Retail Merchandising System, DC WMS, Direct-to-Consumer Order Management System, transition to Cost Accounting, and all other IT projects involving Inventory- Ensure accuracy of the Stock Ledger and balance to General Ledger for Sales, Inventory, Markdowns, and Cost of Sales- Maintain account mapping from Stock Ledger to General Ledger for all Domestic and International transactions
