I am Kevin Carmichael, and I am a student-athlete on the Men’s Soccer team at UC Berkeley. I am intending on majoring in Media Studies. I am interested in real estate because growing up I would watch HGTV every day after school, which was a home design channel, and this specific show called House Hunters made me want to become a real estate agent. This piqued my interest because I saw that real estate agents got to interact with the people and see the joy on their faces when the perfect house was found. One episode I specifically remember was the house hunters touring beautiful cape cod style homes on the east coast and the family showing pure happiness in finding that perfect home where they can grow and cherish moments. The idea of being able to sell people things such as houses is very intriguing to me because I get to help people find their dream house and find the one in which they can make memories.
