Hello! My name is Kevin Kerr and I'm a fourth-year Environmental Resource Management student at Penn State University. My previous job experience includes working as a laborer and hand at a landscape center, and as a landscaper with a small landscaping LLC in Pittsburgh. In fall 2022, I worked as a research assistant with the Dr Tyler Groh Biogeochemistry Lab. I assisted graduate soil and stream health research over that winter in the Halfmoon Creek and Spring Creek areas. In early 2023, I began an internship at the Dr. Keiko Miwa Ross Student Farm at Penn State. My role over the 2023 growing season was field manager. In short, I was/am responsible for the goings-on in our eight 100’x65’ fields, making sure field activities are going on as scheduled. I am involved with student organizations at school such as the Student Farm Club, the Environmental Resource Management Society, the Snowboard Club, and the Climbing Club. My personal hobbies include cycling, drawing, reading, writing, and solving my own problems.
