During my 26 years within Procurement I have built some very good relationships with my Supply Chain and I Have worked very hard to ensure that the Supplier's know exactly what is required of them. I find by working with my suppliers as a team and listening to any issues that they might have either in production or any processes that they have issues with and that can be worked through they will go the extra mile to deliver a quality product on time, yes price of course is crucial to any successful business but this should not drive any decision that might compromise quality and on time delivery.You are only as good as your supply chain
