I am excited to share that I have joined the Calgary Housing Company (CHC) as their Community Development Specialist to support part of the Transform Calgary Housing organizational design. My role will use community development approaches to prevent and reduce the impacts of social isolation and poverty, contributing to resident success. I will be working closely with other CHC staff and partners in the community to initiate and support strategic programs and initiatives that advance resident empowerment and community capacity building. While contributing to the success of the transition to a mixed income model and to the progress on Reconciliation, Anti-Racism, and EDIB.
