CurrentProactively monitor manufacturing or shop controlled paperwork for the next job or in process inspection and obtain the applicable drawings, Boeing specifications and any other necessary documents. Review manufacturing plans and other paperwork (e.g., OSIP (Out Of Sequence Installation Plan), NCO (Non Conformance Order) for completeness (e.g., missed operations or processes). Perform in-process inspections as required. Review and inspect workmanship, dimensions and locations and ensure all parts/assemblies have been installed per the drawing, specification and planning requirements. Audit and monitor manufacturing processes, as required. Identify and document discrepancies. Reject assembly or installation, as required. Note discrepant condition and location and what the correct configuration of the assembly or installation should be, citing drawing, BAC specification, or plan requirements. Process QA records per appropriate procedures to maintain accountability. Initiate line and/or store checks to investigate whether rejectable condition exists on other airplanes or parts/assemblies, as required. Perform shakedown inspections on completed sub- assemblies and final inspection on completed aircraft assemblies prior to customer acceptance and record any discrepancies on a non conformance record. Reinspect, as required and accept when complete. Ensure that current revisions of drawings, EQC (Engineering Quick Change), Boeing (BAC) specifications and other documents are being used by the shop and inspection. Work with other employees to improve functions, methods and procedures Consult with management and/or others (e.g., production, engineering, planning or customer coordinator) on process or job related issues as required. Work with others as part of a team including giving and receiving feedback, assisting others in completion of tasks, utilizing interpersonal skills, listening skills, and participation.
