Provided Senior Agile Delivery services to DEFRA' Farming and Countryside Programme. Working through on projects following GDS Discovery Alpha & Beta stages, enabling DEFRA to work with their customer base following BREXIT. Providing Agile leadership and guidance , building development frameworks and practices across three teams allowed DEFRA to provide a faster and more secure payment system.

Working with a multi skilled team delivering several Data Collections forms as part of the DfE’s overall accountability framework. The forms allow the national collection of Academy Trust financial information. The forms have been redesigned and successfully developed and released during my time at the DfE. The multiple delivery streams have utilized multiple technologies involving Microsoft Dynamics, .Net, Angular, Data Factory, all in an Azure platform. The Scrum deliveries have focused on creating a single team ethic with the Business Users, UCD and Development teams co-operating to provide an excellent service for the education finance sector. This has involved initially working with team members who had no concept of Agile and providing coaching to allow them to grow and trust in the methodology. The contract also included working across the development division and coaching internal managers and teams and contributing to the Scrum of Scrums. During the pandemic introduced new tools and technology to allow the teams to continue providing first class and on-time delivery.

Working with a team delivering a Mobile Application, as part of the British Gas Smart Metering Programme. The Mobile Application provides the information and workflow that allows the SMART Engineers to fit both first and second generation SMART meters, meeting regulatory and company requirements. I provide a combination of Scrum Master, Project Management and Applications Delivery Manager skills. I work with a development team compromising of UI and middleware developers and an outsourced test team, ensuring the team follow and understand their commitments to the Scrum practices. As the first company to deliver SMART2 meters into the UK we have developed the interfaces with DCC. I also work with a range of Project, Business and Software Development Management to ensure a co-ordinated effort across the company. As the Project Manager reporting to the PMO Director, I plan, monitor, report and lead the delivery of software working with the R&D Director and 8 Scrum teams located in multiple locations.
