As the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Test & Evaluation (T&E) Project Manager from 2000 - 2009, managed $12 Million Project responsible for planning and executing large-scale BMD T&E campaigns.- Grew project from a small eight-person team to a nationally-renown $12M T&E organization- Led large government/contractor teams responsible for over fifty successful BMD T&E campaigns- Developed innovative techniques for shipboard T&E preparations and operational execution- Served as Navy Test Director for the historic satellite shoot down in February of 2008- Led the conduct of three Lean Six Sigma events which resulted in a savings of over $100K/year- Recognized as expert in construction and presentation of technical briefs to senior personnel

Combat Systems Engineer and Surface Combatant Fleet Support- Served as a Shipboard Project Officer for four T&E missions, leading diverse engineering teams- Became department’s principle engineer during initial experiments and fielding of BMD capability- Managed a $1M Customer Support Office responsible for solving Fleet technical issues

Was responsible for Aegis related contracts in support of PHD NSWC including the construction of the Aegis Capabilities and Limitations Manual, and Aegis Destroyer Post Delivery Test and Trial Antiair Warfare support. Single-handedly helped to double the amount of Aegis related work in the Techmatics Oxnard office, including the successful accomplishment of a non-solicited proposal to teach an Aegis Doctrine Course.

U.S. Navy Lieutenant stationed at the Aegis Training Center (ATC) in Dahlgren, VA. As the Combat Systems Officer Course Supervisor, was responsible for the 5-week training of all Aegis Department Heads bound for Aegis ships at ATC during an unprecedented increase in student enrollment. Duties included the management of contractors and military personnel, curriculum management, and the instruction of a variety of Aegis Combat System related lessons. Also served on a number of engineering boards including the Aegis Program Manager’s Desert Storm Lessons Learned Working Group.

U.S. Naval Officer Stationed on the USS BUNKER HILL (CG 52) in San Diego, CA and Yokosuka, Japan. Made three Persian Gulf deployments in four years, and part of Wardroom that moved the ship from San Diego to Yokosuka. Served as a Tactical Action Officer (TAO) onboard the forward deployed Aegis Cruiser during Desert Shield/Storm while the ship served as the Battle Force’s Anti-Air Warfare Commander. Had weapon’s release authority from the Commanding Officer during this intense conflict in which the ship fired 28 Tomahawk Cruise Missiles, and was awarded a Navy Commendation Medal with Combat Distinguishing Device for duties performed.As the ship's Main Propulsion Division Officer, was responsible for the personnel management of the 50-man main propulsion division during a busy engineering inspection cycle. Became qualified as an Engineering Officer of the Watch - responsible for the proper operation of the ship’s entire propulsion plant.As the ship's Anti-Submarine Warfare Officer (ASWO), was responsible for a 28 man division of Sonar Technicians and Torpedoman. Duties included personnel leadership and the management of all sonar equipment maintenance. While serving as the ship’s ASWO, qualified in every tactical watchstation possible for a junior officer on an AEGIS ship. Also during this period, served in the collateral position of Public Affairs Officer during the ship’s highly visible homeport shift from San Diego to Yokosuka.
