The Security Engineering team is responsible for following the RMF framework to obtain Authority to Operate (ATO) of 6 government assets while ensuring compliance with IASD-C security requirements.Technical Lead (Infrastructure Recapitalization) Led the effort for developing and coordinating a schedule for the re-capitalization and modernization of over 24 environments (approximately 1000 RHEL 7 Linux and Windows 2012 virtual machines) across three network domains. This includes establishing the COTS/FOSS software baseline, developing the environment specifications, coordinating schedules and resources with the development, test, and operations organizations, conducting status meetings, and reporting progress/status to the Program Office and the government. This effort was necessary in order to retain Authority to Operate on the existing government assets

Technical Lead (Special Programs) Responsible for defining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on Agile Development Methodologies on the program and for establishing success criteria for applicable design reviews. Negotiated with government customers to ensure the design review criteria were acceptable. Successfully organized and led critical design reviews conducting kickoff meetings, preparing charts, and ensuring that all design review success criteria were met. Additionally, worked as the Performance Engineer on the program generating a Performance Analysis Report (PAR) which defined and documented a plan to track the Technical Performance Measures (TPMs) for the system. Received a Special Recognition Award for leading these effortsTechnical Lead (Mission Control Cloud) Led a cross functional team of 8 individuals tasked with designing and implementing a Cloud environment. Design activities included performing a trade study on Cloud Computing Models, establishing a design based on the ESXi and VMWare platforms, defining the Service Catalog, generating an Infrastructure Governance. This was one of the first cloud-based initiatives sponsored by our government customer and is still operating successfully today. Received a Precision Quality Solutions (PQS) and Special Recognition Award for leading these efforts.Architect/Engineering Review Board (ERB) Chairman Responsible for implementing Architecture Based Design on the TTWCS Program. Worked to develop functional and operational software requirements and defining the system architecture. This included working with external customers to defined interfaces, leading a team of approximately 8 individuals on the system engineering products, and acting as the ERB chairman ensuring all work products were accurate and baselined for the program. Received the Lockheed Martin Prestige Award for these efforts.
