Working as a metallurgist in the New Product and Process Development Group at RBC Bearings.As a valuable member of the New Product and Process Development Group (NPPDG), I played a pivotal role in ensuring the success of production processes. My responsibilities included metallurgical verification of production, retained austenite, welds, threads, and nitride products. I actively engaged in problem-solving within manufacturing, contributing to the resolution of issues. Additionally, I played role in audits, reverse engineering, and failure analysis projects.Throughout my time, I visited 15 facilities, strategically building a robust network of contacts within the industry. This not only enhanced collaboration but also provided valuable insights into industry best practices.My commitment to continuous improvement is evident in my efforts to enhance current procedures and expand my technical knowledge. I worked with a range of alloys, specializing in ferrous alloys while also gaining proficiency in non-ferrous alloys.My previous work includes a masters degree focused in residual stress of carburized gear steel.
