As the business development intern for The Gap Partnership, I was tasked with various assignments that strengthened my knowledge and understanding of how the sales process works. Some of the assignments I was tasked with were, - Locate and research as well as report on, past and future potential clients via LinkedIn- Research market segments to determine any sector disruptions or changes for clients- Identify and report on global key stakeholders’ organizational changes I also got to sit in on sales calls, and learn about the entire sales process. I was also able to apply my own knowledge to my work, and i was able to make processes more efficient then they previously were.

As a manager for Westchester County I preformed various administrative tasks that included- In charge of employee schedules and of the general upkeep around the office space- Worked with customers to address problems and come up with resolutions- Tasked with handling money and answering phones to address customer concernsThis experience as manager was very important as it was my first experience in resolving customer issues and it also gave me a glimpse into how an office operates.

While working as a maintenance worker for Westchester County I learned a lot of valuable skills that helped me improve myself and my leadership skills, some of the things I was tasked with were- Responsible for maintaining the park as well as the opening and closing of the park- Helped maintenance department in the fixing and configuration of equipment - Worked in a team environment delegating as well as planning operations and tasks I considered myself the unofficial leader of the maintenance team and this experience was invaluable as I learned so much about leadership and teamwork.
