One key objective of my role is to increase the enrollment of online programs by collaborating with multiple campus partners at Portland State University. + I work with deans, department chairs, and faculty to identify and develop high quality online programs, which are both marketable to students and have strong employment possibilities for graduates. To this end, I introduce relevant market research into the conversations to ensure alignment to both industry and student demand. I then work closely with the associate director of our internal design staff to initiate these online course development projects. + I facilitate the marketing of online programs by acting as the liaison between our service provider and undergraduate admissions, the graduate school and university communications staff. I solicit feedback to ensure the campaigns remain aligned with the university's other marketing campaigns.+ I engage with multiple campus partners to identify the needed support systems for our growing population of online students. My role includes participation in innovative pilot projects designed to increase value for the university and for the student. These projects include accelerated degree pathways, alternative credentials, stackable certificates, and expanding credit for prior learning.I also collaborate with other staff in the Office of Academic Innovation in strategic planning efforts and in the design of appropriate assessment methods for those efforts.

+ Led a successful RFP process to determine a vendor for marketing online programs and facilitated the contract details to reach a final agreement.+ Initiated and led work sessions with an advisory group of campus leaders to assess PSU’s infrastructure to support online students.+ Developed project and portfolio plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, requirements, scope, scheduling, and identification of risks, contingency plans and allotment of resources for each phase of the projects.+ Directed and coordinated activities of project personnel to ensure projects progressed on schedule and within prescribed budgets.+ Identified and scheduled project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.+ Actively worked to mitigate issues and risks to ensure project success across the portfolio.+ Applied various methodologies and practices to achieve project management goals, including design thinking, waterfall, agile, lean/continuous improvement, scrum and service design, as applicable.+ Managed an adaptive courseware grant to ensure the deliverables within the identified budget which included the development of pilot projects and managing the relations with adaptive courseware vendors. Managed key stakeholder relationships on behalf of Energy Trust Existing Homes program including Portland General Electric, Home Builders Association, Community Energy Project and HVAC distributors. Oversaw quality management of over 14,000 home energy improvement installations in 2014, which were incentivized by Energy Trust's residential program. Managed budget for program operations and associated projects. Drafted service agreements for vendor management and supervised vendor fulfillment of consultation, inspection and translation services. Planned and launched a new business unit by recruiting and managing an 11 member team for residential energy retrofit work. Managed operations and budgets for internal development projects. Developed workflows to comply with energy incentive program resulting in highest customer satisfaction award for 2011. Optimized HVAC mechanical options and energy retrofit application methods leading to an average 30% reduction in modeled energy use of customer homes. Oversaw vendor fulfillment for electrical services, insulation, HVAC, plumbing, seismic retrofit, window installs and customized software development. Self-directed the delivery of 50+ residential energy audits including all preliminary research, onsite diagnostics, customer engagement and summary reports. Directed operations for membership services, volunteer coordination, outreach efforts and education program. Grew marketing outreach program from 5 to 40 projects resulting in a 300% increase in donor base over six months. Managed project success under tight budgetary constraints and through the utilization of volunteer support. Facilitated a 20% increase in refurbished computers donated to the Portland nonprofit community in 2009. Oversaw services donated by vendors for web design, graphic design, website programming and photography.

Coordinated the successful launch of an East County Parks and Trees Summit. Collaborated with key stakeholders including Metro, City of Gresham, Audubon Society, and Johnson Creek Watershed Council. Managed the grant acquisition program, increasing budget revenue by 15%. Generated and implemented targeted outreach strategies including direct mailings, electronic communications and media releases.

Supported the mapping of workflows for internal process improvement initiatives. Tracked the cost, projected revenue and strategy metrics of fifty project proposals to support project prioritization for PGE’s Project Management Office.
