Founded in 1979, Solar Oregon is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Supported by its member organizations and individuals, Solar Oregon provides outreach and education on solar technology and its applications, methods for improving energy efficiency, and ideas for building a carbon-neutral future. Recognizing that business plays a crucial role in reducing our environmental footprint, Solar Oregon also reaches out to the professional and corporate communities. Solar Oregon envisions a future where human prosperity is achieved through efficient technology and renewable energy, conserving all natural systems and resources.
