CurrentAs Afloat NAMTS Coordinator Lead (ANC), I work independently as Commander Navy Regional Maintenance Center’s representative for all Afloat Training Activities (ATA). I develop and conduct Flag level briefs, assist ships in determining NAMTS supportability and develop policy and provide guidance to multiple aircraft carriers, large deck amphibious ships and all NAMTS Afloat Training Activities. To accomplish this I administer training, perform pre and post-testing and update CeTARS for program administrative and execution support. As needed I complete periodic visits to each Afloat Training Activity to conduct “Spot Checks”, and assist in program maintenance and administration including coordination and resolution of program feedback reports to completion. As a Senior Analyst, I assist in the development, collection, and analysis of program data from all regions ashore and afloat and use it to provide monthly metric reports and briefings for Senior Leadership at Afloat Training Activities.

I was hand picked to relieve as Chief of the Boat after a tragic accident took the life's of two Sailors onboard the ship. As the Chief of the Boat I was the principle advisor to the Commanding Officer on all matters in existing or potential situations which may affect the morale, safety and welfare of 130 crew members and their families.

Responsible for mission accomplishment, nuclear reactor propulsion plant maintenance and operation, complex combat and navigation systems operation and repair, trained and ensured the safety of 150 military personnel. Awarded the 2002 and 2004 Battle Efficiency Award as the best ship in the Squadron. Deployed 3 times in 6 theater's of operation completing missions critical to the National Security, including Tomahawk Strike operations in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Raised ships retention from 26 of 28 to 1 of 28 and exceeded the Chief of Naval Operation's Zone "A" and "B" reenlistment rates.
Weapons Systems Evaluator And Senior Enlisted Leader
Served on an inspection team of tactical experts tasked with evaluating the readiness of all Atlantic fleet submarines annually. Inspections consisted of week-long scenarios with ships at sea demonstrating damage control, basic submarining, strategic weapons, and tactical employment.With a team of true professionals we significantly increased the effectiveness of inspection feedback by focusing on continuous improvement in addition to expanding the role of the team to include assist training visits.
