I lead a team of ten consultants, supporting OT's Trade Transformation Office. Our team provides Change Management support for the implementation of enhancements to the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE), an IT system that streamlines the processing of trade entering and exiting the United States. We work hand in hand with our clients to help members of the public, of CBP, and other government agencies understand what changes are coming and how to prepare for the change.

I led teams of consultants, supporting TSA’s Intermodal Security Training and Exercise Program (I-STEP). Our teams’ designed, developed, delivered, and evaluated discussion- and operations-based transportation security exercises across the country, effectively addressing federal, state, local, and private sector transportation security activities.

Fort Hood, Tx & Grafenwoher Germany

Led 225-soldier company. Managed $250K monthly budget; responsible for $57.7M of equipment. Managed training to ensure readiness for international deployments. Established organizational culture and vision. Worked with French and Albanian commanders and service members from 15 NATO and European nations. Executed logistical operations between the United States and Germany. Responsible for Fort Hood’s Controlled Monitoring Area (CMA), one of seven CMAs in the world that host service members who are arriving from Ebola-affected regions and must be monitored for potential symptoms. Collaborated with U.S. Army Medical Command, civilian agencies, and U.S. Navy on site improvement; optimized procedures; and rehearsed for all contingencies.

Fort Hood, Tx

Scheduled and coordinated training resources for 16,000-soldier First Cavalry Division. Chaired Cost Refinement and Ammunition Working Groups. Captured quarterly cost of training; forecasted future needs; allocated $20M quarterly budget to meet severe resource constraints. Managed and synchronized the division training calendar.

Fort Drum, Ny

Selected from 13 platoon leaders and 5 senior executive officers to act as the Executive Officer for the largest and most diverse company in the battalion. Led as second in command of a 200-soldier Light Infantry Battalion Headquarters Company. Managed training resources, equipment, and budget for the company. Headed the company as it assumed its Global Response Force mission. Ramped up training; conducted maintenance and service on all equipment; and coordinated with military and federal agencies.

Fort Drum, Ny & Konduz And Baghlan Afghanistan

Led 38-soldier platoon. Responsible for training, mentoring, equipping, and working with three Afghan National Police precincts (~300 police). Headed the first platoon to operate with insurgent groups that sought to return home and work with the Afghanistan government. Worked with USAID, German and Hungarian Armies, and Afghan officials; resulted in power grid renovation, refurbishment of local girls' schools and police stations, deliveries of humanitarian assistance supplies. Voted Ranger Officer Leader Honor Graduate, the most effective leader, by the 06-09 Ranger class.
