I am a software engineer with 2-3 years of experience currently looking for a job. I received my Master of Computer Information and Technology (MCIT) degree at the University of Pennsylvania in December 2021, and I have previously completed a BS and and an MS in Electrical Engineering at Arizona State University. I most recently worked at General Motors, focusing on the back-end service across three teams - Future Roads, Asset Management, and Software Defined Vehicle. On the Future Roads team, I developed an application to help identify potholes using GM data utilizing Java Spring Boot, React, CosmosDB, and Azure. This application was successfully launched during alpha testing with real customers.On the Asset Management team, I supported the back-end of a program allowing end users to register devices and create digital keys to get access to cars in a fleet. A key feature of this utlized GraphQL to improve performance.On the Software Defined Vehicle team, I helped develop and maintain the core software infrastructure layer that allows car components to interface with each other. This application was developed in both Java and C++. I hope to utilize both the technical and soft skills I gained during my time at General Motors to further advance my career and contribute to exciting software projects in the future.
