Creative problem solver deeply immersed in the energy transition. My professional career began in the military as an Infantry Officer deployed to Iraq. There I learned first hand about energy security and energy poverty. That experience has led me to dedicate my career to advancing and accelerating the energy transition.Having owned a business for over a decade and leading teams as a non-profit executive has taught me the need to build consensus among stakeholders, lead diverse teams, and achieve success as a team. Leading by example with integrity, humor, and clarity define my servant leadership style. My focus has been on bringing simplicity from chaos in organizations and projects that I've led. I am an advocate of getting more military veterans into the energy transition, not just because of my affinity for those with a shared expereince to me. I know that the military provides some of the top talent available, and recurringly so. The military talent pipeline leaving active service is a huge opportunity to meet the needs of the energy transition and one we cannot overlook.
