With over 15 years working with young children and an experienced Early Childhood Education major,it’s my responsibility to help young children reach their full potential. I like working with young children because I am a part of their growth and development. Seeing what they learn and discover and talking to them about different topics is priceless. The great thing about being a teacher is they learn from us and we learn from them.Below are some examples I have taken away, while in the childcare industry:- Allowing each child to do anything that interest them, this could be a topic they want to learn more about.- Identifying each students strengths, which helps them become more confident and empowers them to perform better while maintaining a growth mindset.I promote my work by maintaining a positive attitude and dedicated enthusiasm. I am punctual and organized by prioritizing multiple tasks ahead of time. I am able to maintain positive relationships and strong communication skills. As a lifelong learner who currently holds an associates degree, my goal is to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Special Education. While on this path I will gain more experience and learn the latest teaching practices which will help me become the best I will ever be. Having this knowledge will help me on the road to a long successful teaching job.
