As an IT Intern at BenefitMall, my primary role is to provide technical support and shadow various members of the tech team. I am immersed in a dynamic environment where I gain hands-on experience and valuable insights into the Insurance and Business Consulting industry.In the realm of tech support, I am responsible for assisting fellow employees with their technology-related issues. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software problems, resolving network connectivity issues, and providing timely and efficient solutions to ensure uninterrupted workflow. I have a solid understanding of operating systems, such as Windows and macOS, and I am very familiar with common productivity software like Microsoft Office and collaboration tools like Zoom and Microsoft Teams.One of the key aspects of my internship is shadowing different members of the tech team. This allows me to gain exposure to various areas of IT within BenefitMall, such as network administration, database management, cybersecurity, and software development. By observing and learning from experienced professionals, I’ve developed a comprehensive understanding of the company's technological infrastructure as well as its integration with business processes.During my time shadowing the tech team, I actively participate in meetings and discussions, asking questions and seeking clarification to expand my knowledge. I assist in documenting processes, configurations, and troubleshooting techniques, contributing to the knowledge base of the team. Additionally, I engage in hands-on projects under the guidance of senior team members, which enables me to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios.

As a manual QA tester intern, my main responsibility is to assist in ensuring the quality of software products through rigorous testing. I work closely with senior testers and developers to understand the project requirements and identify potential issues or bugs.In my role, I execute test cases, both scripted and exploratory, to verify the functionality, usability, and performance of the software. I document any defects I encounter and provide detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce them.
