Change in any business is difficult, in a public sector or transit agency there are additional constraints and hurdles to overcome. They lack any transition between employee shifts and they are under pressure to be transparent and decrease head count, yet as their infrastructure inventory grows there is not adequate budget or resources to preserve or maintain it! Responsible to oversee all of AgileAssets projects, monitor the activities of the Project Managers (PMs) on each and every project, and provide regular client interaction, at all levels, to ensure a quality implementation and satisfied client. Oversees and directs implementations of AgileAssets software solutions for new and existing clients, both domestically and internationally. The Projects Director must have ability to thoroughly understand our software modules and keep abreast of continual AgileAssets system developments in order to understand how client business goals relate to the AgileAssets software, its configuration requirements, and project implementation plans. In addition, this role makes regular client contact to assess the quality of work performed by AgileAssets personnel, the level of client satisfaction with the software, and to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks to project success.

As the Senior Program Manager for a $35M Integrated Retirement System Project (IRSP), managed the quality assurance and control activities. Acted as a key change management leader throughout the project lifecycle, achieving a successful result highlighted by avoiding all additional cost on a fixed price vendor contract. The new 24 x 7 Retirement system supports over 700,000 members widely dispersed throughout North Carolina and for retirees across the world, including an industry leading self-service through the internet and contact management and contact response center using Integrated Voice Response (IVR) telephony. Due to the project complexity and the data transmission requirements, a key for success was communications management which included focus groups, regional education sessions, webinars, project open houses, weekly team and client status meetings, quarterly steering committee meetings, external agency meetings, and quarterly risk assessments. The project including procuring and installing over 40 new servers and implementation of 24 x 7 support for the data center.

Project Manager for a $6M COTS Implementation, managed the prime contractor and was the primary communication point to the stakeholders and client Project Manager. The project involved coordination with an ERP project and vendor, other state agencies for key data and coordination for GIS and other Enterprise Data and authentication requirements. Managed Change throughout the project life cycle, and this resulted in the addition of application enhancements, a revision to the training methodology, and revisions for some of the defined deliverables. Project-wide communications management was critical for success, this was self-initiated and supported through weekly team and client status meetings, quarterly steering committee meetings, bi-weekly system interface meetings, and quarterly risk assessments. Project deliverables included architecture documentation and hardware requirements.
