Worked with the Sustainable Finance Team of EY Netherlands on a Master's Consulting Project in conjunction with VU Amsterdam.The project scope covered the classification of the sustainable finance products of several Dutch financial institutions under an ESG framework. It combined the latest academic insights and industry practices to help clients create an understanding of a holistic financial ecosystem across their product range.

Established and managed the political office of a new Member of the Irish Parliament. I created systems of management to successfully establish a national presence and meet the needs of the constituency. I designed strategies and developed insights to navigate the ongoing COVID-19 legislative landscape. Tasks include liaising with various Government departments and drafting press releases and speeches to inform and influence stakeholders. I have also produced and edited multiple overviews of European secondary legislation under Committee pre-legislative scrutiny. My briefings were used for high-level meetings including the Irish Prime Minister. I was also part of welcoming foreign heads of state including French President, Emmanuel Macron.

As Board Secretary, I am responsible for scheduling Board Meetings, circulating minutes and following up on action points.Also responsible for the drafting of a fit for purpose strategy document to determine the further direction of the organisation.

The Irish Graduates Network is a platform on which Irish graduate business professionals and entrepreneurs meet to form business relationships and to recognise, create or act upon business opportunities, share information and seek potential partners for ventures.I am a Founding Member of the Board focusing on building our LinkedIn presence.

The work of the Board of National Committees is moderated and administered by a board consisting of one Chair and up to two Vice-chairs. They facilitate knowledge-sharing amongst the directors of the 40 organisation part of the network, update databases and lists, coordinate the content preparations for the bi-annual meetings and moderate the discussions. The BNC Board also serves as a contact point for the different international stakeholders in coordinating policy proposals, online votes and overseeing the work of the network’s working groups.

EYP is a volunteer-run organisation based in 40 countries across Europe whose aim is to encourage youth participation in European affairs. It is a youth-run, youth-led organisation that focuses on empowering young people through a non-formal education setting engaging with over 500 high school students a year in Ireland and 15,000 internationally. The Irish organisation runs four regional conferences and one national conference a year alongside training, fundraising and social events for our over 100 membership base.The position included chairing meetings of the national committee and representing the company to both international and national stakeholders.

The purpose of this body was to bridge the gap between teams/individuals needing one-time advice and more experienced members/alumni who would be happy to share their experience, without necessarily having the time availability to otherwise contribute on a regular basis.Duties included connecting complementary parties alongside developing upon areas that lacked knowledge resources in general.

Project manager for our annual capacity building and networking event in Nis, Serbia which brought together the directors from across the network.They participated in a knowledge sharing/creation programme devised by my team of 12 international trainers in the areas of project management, outreach and inclusion, fundraising and public relations. Alongside a multiplier system, was developed to ensure that the knowledge gather could be reproduced and shared across the network.

The position included taking the company from bankruptcy to one of its most successful years to date by transforming its financial systems, diversifying sponsorship and increasing and retaining membership. Duties include overseeing the financial management of five nation-wide events that connect with over 500 high school students (Approximate turnover of €60,000) alongside completing the annual audit which included the annual flagship event of the network hosted between our organisation and the UK organisation in Dublin and Belfast. It had a budget of over €150,000.

Trinity Business Review (TBR) is Ireland’s go to business publication for university students. Founded in 2018 by students from Trinity College Dublin, we aim to provide our readers with a unique insight into the business world and to maintain this as the leading student-run business publication in Europe.This publication will be a direct link from the private sector to university students to communicate about potential careers and internships that are available and to give an insight into what a future career might look like. Trinity Business Review is an edition-based publication that aims to be the launchpad for current students in their careers prospects. We will provide you with up-to-date business news both at home and abroad. It is a multi-disciplinary publication. We want to engage students studying courses other than business. In today’s ever-changing environment we recognise that students may go on to work in the business world even though their undergraduate degree may suggest otherwise.

My role involved promoting, headhunting, setting up events and giving invaluable feedback on the current student climate.

Baker Tilly is a multi-disciplinary firm with a singular focus on entrepreneurial, owner-managed and family-owned businesses.I worked in the Corporate Finance Department of the firm with high exposure to the Goodbody EIIS Management Funds.The Goodbody EIIS Funds offer Investors the opportunity to invest in a diversified portfolio of Irish companies under the Employment and Investment Incentive Scheme (“EIIS”).Tasks included the creation of business plans and due diligence for investment within the €10 million 2019 Fund alongside the management of investor relations including liaising with the Revenue Commissioners and the performance of Anti-Money Laundering compliance.

The position involved working with a broad range of people across the Sports and Recreational Department of Dublin City Council. Duties included administration and upkeep of cash flow as well as responsibility for the health and safety of swimmers, which requires team-based surveillance and maintenance as part of a team of qualified pool lifeguards.

The position involved working on the interim audit report of a large Irish bank in the Global Markets division as part of the Banking and Capital Markets section of the Assurance and Audit line of service. Duties included the gathering and processing of data, corresponding with clients and presenting findings to senior management.Alongside this as part of the internship programme, we engaged weekly professional development workshops to improve upon our soft skills, such as group dynamics, networking and pitching competitions including business advisory case analysis.
