Technical account manager responsible for calling on biotechnology, pharmaceutical and academic accounts in the greater New York City area. Regularly represented capital equipment product lines in genomics, proteomics and advanced assay development to high level scientific stakeholders.

Distribution account manager responsible for calling on large academic institutions in New York City. Represented Fisher to multimillion dollar accounts covering multiple and often competing vendors while leveraging world class marketing in labs and trade shows. Built strong relationships with lab and purchasing personnel to further entrench our position as the primary source of scientific reagents and equipment. Took part in the planning, development and execution of Manhattan's largest bioscience trade show at Rockefeller University.

Founded residential real estate company developing and remodeling single family homes in the suburbs outside Seattle, WA. As as sole proprietorship, I was responsible for all aspects of running the business from planning and design work to purchasing and negotiating specialty labor where necessary.

Greater San Diego Area

As part of Celgene's Research and Development group in San Diego, I was charged with the development of new assays to screen potential new drugs against cancer, osteoporosis and inflammatory diseases. This involved searching the literature for pertinent discoveries, planning the assays, cloning, expressing and validating the macromolecular reagents involved, testing and validating the assays and aiding in the technology transfer to our high-throughput screening group for scale up. The position involved handshaking with multiple high level scientific stakeholders across a number of disciplines and integrating their input into the direction of the projects.

Greater San Diego Area

Responsible for supporting multiple lines of production including molecular biology custom service including BD's BaculoGold™ product line. Developed internal ELISA protocols for baculovirus expressed cytokines as well as created a FilmMaker™ database supporting the R&D group's efforts prior to the official LIMS integration. I was also charged with large scale cell culture and expression protocols for both in house and production needs utilizing both traditional and mechanized methodologies.
