As President and CEO of Netstar-1 managed reverse merger with WBB in 2012. As Non-Executive Chairman of WBB involved in all aspect of business operations for this $100 million revenue company. Led successful turnaround and spearheaded merger and integration that drove over $6 million of immediate EBITDA improvement. Improved strategic positioning in highly competitive market with business showing improvement in EBITDA in last three years in difficult market.

LAKE CAPITAL – Chicago, IL 2003-2016$1.3 billion private equity firm providing operating support and capital to growing middle-market services companies Held a broad range of roles and responsibilities over a 13-year period with this private equity firm. Oversaw Investment Management, Portfolio Oversight and Operations Management functions concurrently. Sourcing: Established and grew the sourcing organization that was responsible for identifying and sourcing the firm’s investments. Directed group that averaged approximately 2-4 platform investments per year, with ~40% of deals being proprietary. The group deployed $800 million of capital during my leadership. Portfolio Company Services (PCS): Built Lake Capital’s PCS group comprised of internal consultants working exclusively with Lake Capital portfolio companies. Coordinated PCS activities touching approximately 75% of Lake Capital’s portfolio. Actively engaged in the operational management of a number of Lake Capital’s portfolio companies. Successes included taking active operating roles in most of Lake Capital’s underperforming investments where I was responsible for spearheading a series of changes and improvements that lead to significantly improved profitability and value creation. Provided the strategic and tactical leadership for the following portfolio companies:Acting CEO MediaWhiz and Non-Executive Chairman (one of largest online performance marketing services agencies) – Served during turnaround phase of this $130 million revenue company.
