The Desktop Support Manager position acts in a leadership capacity for overalleffectiveness of end user technology support needs throughout the County. Defines andmanages an internal support process focused on resolving customer technical issues ina courteous, complete, and timely manner. Acts as an escalation resource to DesktopSupport Technicians. Monitors productivity and quality of IT Support Desk processes,and regularly reports status to the Customer Relations & Project Manager. Continuallystrives to move support processes from being reactive towards a proactive approach.Demonstrates high caliber leadership and ensures accountability through thecommitment to end user satisfaction, continuous process improvement, and strictadherence to IT security policies and procedures. Additionally, the Desktop SupportSupervisor must possess strong technical and analytic skills and exhibit creative problemsolving abilities.
