As the Deputy Chief of AFVentures, I align strategic investments alongside government, industry, and private capital partners to grow the Nation's innovation base and deliver novel capabilities to global customers. With over 10 years of experience in the Air Force, Defense, and International Project Management domains, I have a proven track record of leading and executing complex and high-impact initiatives that advance the national security and economic interests of the United States.In my current role, I leverage my PMP and Level III Program Management credentials to oversee the development and implementation of the AFVentures vision, strategy, and portfolio, which includes the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs, as well as other innovation and partnership opportunities. I also apply my Level III International Affairs certification to foster and maintain effective relationships with allies, partners, and stakeholders across the public and private sectors, and to identify and pursue opportunities for collaboration and co-investment. My mission is to create a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the Air Force and the broader defense ecosystem, and to accelerate the delivery of cutting-edge solutions to warfighters and customers around the world.
