With over 16 years as an Employment Specialist, I appreciate the opportunity and the blessings that I have had to assist, advocate and be the voice of those that find the journey to employment more challenging and look to me, and our staff to help them reach their vocational goals.We service most areas of Florida, with myself responsible for much of the Central Florida area, including Polk, Highlands, Osceola, Orange, Seminole and Volusia counties. In order to provide the individuals we serve with the most vocational opportunities we are always looking to establish partnerships with companies that are diversity-minded.

I am the newest member of the Bishop Grady Villas Employment Services department, starting with BGV in August, 2015. I bring more than 9 years of experience to the BGV team. Prior to BGV, I worked with The Diversity Initiative, and before that, Quest Inc. With both of these experiences, I learned to be more resourceful and humble, and have a better understanding of those individuals that I have a pleasure to work with on a daily basis. As well, I strive to be take a hands-on, enthusiastic approach in his role as an Employment Specialist.My passion for working with people with disabilities started in 2000, with my involvement with Seminole County Special Olympics, first as a swim coach, it wasn’t long before I found himself coaching year round in multiple sports, member of the Management Team, serving on the Public Relations and Special Event committees, and instrumental in the growth and development of the Athlete Leadership programs.I take pride in providing quality service, and developing long-term, professional relationships. As well, I have gained the knowledge of Supported Employment, Discovery and On-the-Job Training, and make it my daily goal, to remove barriers to employment and focus on positive outcomes!

As a Senior Employment Consultant with The Diversity Initiative, I learned how to overcome adversity, working with amazing team to help with expanding the agency to provide services in Polk County, and then in Orange and Seminole Counties. During that time, I worked with some wonderful co-workers, and clients. I am grateful for all that I learned from my 3 yrs of my employment with TDI.Thank you John and the rest of the TDI team!
