Provide career and course decision-making information that guided students in their academic programs and post-college plans. Behavioral tests and career exercises aid in considering various career options based upon perspectives involving globalization, total quality management, workforce diversity, leadership, volunteerism, etc.

As a student success advisor for Academic and Career Development at University College, I provided holistic and developmental academic and pre-professional advising for undergraduate students pursing admission to their degree granting school, primarily students pursing majors in STEM. I developed and implemented proactive strategies and interventions that are designed to enhance the performance, retention, and graduation rates of students. I coached students to explore their intellectual interests, to assess their abilities, and to plan a program of study tailored to preparing each student for their academic and career goals, and I referred them to campus resources. Furthermore, I situated students in the meaning making process where they can make informed decisions about a choice of major and potential career path.

This course was created for the Socially Engaged Engineering and Computing (SEEC) living-learning community (LLC).

As a resident assistant of the STEM floor at North Hall for IUPUI Housing and Residence Life, I organized and coordinated educational programs related to wellness, academics, social justice, and social aspects of college living for roughly 700 students, 35 students directly. I applied crisis management skills to students experiencing psychological and physical stresses, responding appropriately by questioning, referring students to appropriate resources, and following up on the issue. I aided students as a resource for academic and personal guidance while sustaining community standards by performing duties to ensure the well-being of residents. Lastly, I staffed the front desk of the residence hall to uphold the daily activities.

As an intern, I collaborated with physicians and healthcare professionals to investigate the origin and timeliness of sexual transmitted diseases (e.g. chlamydia and gonorrhea). I also assisted with demographics and analyzed data on such diseases to prevent future outbreaks in Indiana.

As an intern, I assisted administrators with the day-to-day maintenance of the topbulb.com website and other affiliated web sites. In addition, I performed site content inventory to ensure the accuracy and quality of website images and specifications.
