Kevin Munjal is a board-certified Emergency Medicine and EMS physician and is currently Chief Medical Officer at Care2U, an innovative company providing high quality, high complexity, acute care services in the home. He also is the Founder and Chair of the NY Mobile Integrated Healthcare Association (NYMIHA). He was previously the System Director of Emergency Medical Services for the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai as well as the Founder of the highly successful Mount Sinai Community Paramedicine program. He holds two Masters degrees, one in Health Policy & Management from Columbia-Mailman and the other in Clinical Research from Mount Sinai. He obtained his medical degree from Rutgers-NJMS, his Emergency Medicine training at Northwell, and his EMS fellowship at the New York City Fire Department (FDNY).Nationally, he is well-known for his leadership of the federally funded “Promoting Innovations in EMS” project as well as being a member of the Technical Expert Panel of the EMS Agenda 2050 project. He has been an accomplished and prolific academic researcher having received funding from both the National Institute of Health and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation for his work in community paramedicine. He is the recipient of the 2020 EMS World Nicolas Rosecrans Award for Excellence and in 2023 received the Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield Healthcare Heroes Award.
