• Single Hospital with $300m a Tertiary Teaching Hospital in Staten Island NY plus physician and joint ventures enterprises . Responsible for all Financial Operations, Information Technology and other support services.• Stabilized the financial operations to prepare RUMC for acquisition and future growth.• Implemented many initiatives to produce a $10.0 million turnaround in operating performance. By Clinical Documentation Initiatives, Renegotiated Managed Care contracts, implement new programs (Cardiac Cath, CPEP ...) and started the planning and financing of a $50 million Emergency Room.• Increased cash position by improving revenue cycle along with cost reduction initiatives and growing volume thru an EBITA related strategy.Developed NYS most successful ACO for Medicaid and uninsured patients ( DSRIP)

Also managed ECHN’s entire for profit joint venture/affiliate portfolio of $123M in revenue and over 1,300 employee that consists of our Physician Employed Company, a real estate arm, and various other joint ventures (Ambulance Companies, Radiation Oncology, Visiting Nurse Association, Occupational Medicine, Imaging Centers, GI Center, MSO). Also responsible for Network Development of ECHN that positions ECHN for healthcare reform and relationships with other tertiary/ community hospitals and providers. Continues to oversee financial operations and improve operating margins for the system.Prepared for the conversion of ECHN's sale to Tenet a for-profit company . Increased daily cash collections by increased realization rate and reducing denials • Improved Managed Care rates over the last 10 years in a very competitive market.• Provided enhanced care and reduced cost by integrating our Nursing Home and VNA facilities and centralizing into a single governance/management structure for our Post-Acute Delivery System • Increased revenue and retained patients within the network by integrating delivery of care through technology and sharing clinical information Maintained operating cost per case at a level 19% below state average by utilizing LEAN and other operating efficiency techniques. The network had operating revenue of $1.2 million and over 5,000 employees.President/Chief Financial Officer of Holding CompanyChaired the operating committee along with the four CEO’s of the hospitals we initially concentrated on improving our managed care contracts, joint materials management and a single IT platform. Thru collaboration, synergy, and leverage, the alliance also improved health quality and performance, and reduce costs.Developed System based insurance company for employees ,physicians and small markets with 6,500 lives
