In this role, I planned the production schedules for 10 manufacturing lines in a high performance industrial bearing facility. I acted as the SAP support for the area that I planned for and coordinated product availability between the production and warehouse teams and the customer service representatives. Additionally, I helped to lead the process improvement team for the department that I supported, including weekly objective setting and cross-functional integration as well as data collection and analysis of performance. Some projects that I supported in this role were:A global dual-sourcing raw material conversion with new product testing and customer approvalA conversion from physical downtime and performance tracking data collection to digital versions with improved data analysis capabilitiesAn analysis of current process capabilities and demonstrated performance for machine capacity and efficiency and the corresponding reflection in the SAP modules, with costing updates.A Kaizen event and process improvement project to reduce changeover times according to Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) methodology.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

In this role I supervised 3 production lines in a high-speed beverage processing plant in Philadelphia, PA. I also led the continuous improvement efforts of bottle line performance including weekly team executional planning and cross-functional coordination efforts between production, maintenance and quality control teams. Along with this weekly improvement effort, I worked to optimize usage of raw materials on our production lines and reduce costs of plastic wrap used on produced goods through Lean and Six Sigma based projects.

Johnstown, Pennsylvania Area

In this role, I led a team of 20-30 loaders in a complex, fast-paced plant warehouse in western PA. My team was responsible for accurate and timely order fulfillment for daily loading to stores in a local network, supplying a network of regional warehouses with both produced and cross-docked products from other locations as well as storage and coordination of all produced goods coming off of on-site production lines and into the warehouse. I was able to help achieve 99.7% pallet accuracy on all orders shipped to trade and 90% ship to schedule score for all produced and hub products to other facilities. I was also able to help drive $10,000 savings on labor cost through productivity improvement projects for warehouse picking and helped to create a process for prevention and collection of production breakage resulting in savings of $7,500 in 2014.
