I am the Project Manager of implementing energy conservation measures projects that were recommended from 3D Energy's Audit Reports. I also conduct field-level energy audits and level 2 energy audit models and reports based on the field work. As the Project Manager, I build the project scope and charter, help develop contracts with our clients, coordinate with contractors to obtain cost estimates to create grant applications to the Alberta Government to access funding for project implementation, and then coordinate engineering, contract bids, and construction work followed by final project verification and reporting.

My responsibilities at Think include: Managing projects so that they are completed on time, within budget, that exceed the customer's quality expectations. I also design solar PV systems, geothermal systems and solar thermal systems. I have managed and helped construct several geothermal projects including a 20 borehole geothermal system for a new mixed use apartment building in Morinville Alberta.I am responsible for communicating with our clients and vendors, organizing the acquisition of project materials, helping to generate bids, conducting market and product research, making new client contacts, and finding new suppliers and building relationships with them.

I kept the books, managed the accounts, conducted computer maintenance, facilitated the corporation's obligations, and acted as a sounding board for the municipal planning consultant who was my partner in the corporation, and president. On the Permaculture side, I built and applied pilot and demonstration projects such as the self-watering garden system shown in the photos above.
