Kevin first joined Historical Concepts as a summer intern in 2001. He is a passionate planner with an in-depth understanding of the complex relationship between the character of the built environment and its effect on both individuals and communities. Kevin is also an accomplished architect whose classical education has provided the background needed to design a wide range of custom residential and commercial projects. Additionally, Kevin is knowledgeable regarding sustainable design and seeks to incorporate energy efficient concepts into all project types. Kevin has lectured about traditional architecture and planning at the University of Georgia, Georgia Tech and the University of Notre Dame, where he received his Bachelor of Architecture.In Kevin’s tenure at Historical Concepts he has worked on architecture projects ranging in size and geography - from infill renovations and new construction in historic neighborhoods in Atlanta and the Hamptons, to custom new construction homes in Palmetto Bluff (SC), Bridgehampton (NY), Cashiers (NC), Texas, Missisippi, California, Nevada, the Poconos (PA) and the Bahamas. In addition to residences, Kevin has designed hospitality projects, from the Inn at Patrick Square in Clemson, SC, to Rio Palena Lodge, in Patagonia, Chile. Beyond architecture, Kevin has lead master planning projects, including a brownfield redevelopment in Beaufort, NC, the re-birth of a historic town in Livingston, MS, and expanded main streets for the small towns of Oxford, GA and Smithfield, VA.
