At ModusLink:Wrote packages and created tables, that move and format data mimicking the functionality of Oracle Materialized Views. Added code to handle 9 new elements, direct ship, country of origin, category, sub-category, and sub-sub-category to existing ETL system. Tuned data warehouse load. (Inventory Part load process went from over 300 minutes to 20 minutes or less.) Wrote installation process for production go-live.

Sprint Local - CIRAS TeamDesigned and coded hundreds of projects for CIRAS (Circuit Administration System), a major Oracle based system, (700+ forms) running on AIX platforms. Redesigned loop makeup forms to use correct loss coefficients and to be table driven, enabling the easy addition of new coefficients. This involved massive re-writing of two forms, the elimination of two others, adding a coefficients table, expanding another table, changing database triggers to reflect the changes to the tables, loading the coefficients table, and working with the clients to test and refine the forms.Wrote forms, reports, and PL/SQL scripts, to migrate equipment data from CIRAS to Objectel. Designed forms changes for Circuit to Packet project, directed other developers in the implementation of those designs, and wrote test plans for them. Located and tuned inefficient form queries using SQLab, Precise/SQL, TKPROF, Explain plan, and SQL Trace, often reducing processing time as much as ten fold. Found and fixed hundreds of maintenance issues in forms and reports. Added the Mass Assign code to engineering forms, allowing engineers to assign (engineer) DID and DOD special circuits to facilities massively instead of individually. Implemented industry mandated end user address changes by designing massive table changes, re-designing, changing, and testing dozens of forms and reports. Sprint Corporate - Countdown 2000 Team. Re-wrote and created new, stored packages, procedures, and functions to process project data into report ready formats for administrative oversight of all of Sprint's Year 2000 conversion projects.

- Global LIMS TeamEnhanced and developed forms and reports for a Global Laboratory Information Management System, built on PE Nelson's, Oracle based, SQL*LIMS, in a VAX VMS environment. Wrote functional and detailed design specifications. Designed, coded, and tested forms and reports using Oracle development tools. Managed the development instance of SQL*LIMS, implemented Oracle upgrades, adding tables when needed. Designed and maintained the development environment and code control. Installed SQL*LIMS Oracle instances and documented the installation process.
