I worked as a market intelligence researcher using open source and primary research interview techniques collecting information on government opportunities and profiling government agencies and key leadership for immixGroup’s clients. I collected intelligence on the different technologies and capabilities of my company’s client base and regularly wrote articles and blogs on legislative trends and political developments that were shaping the federal IT landscape. I covered a series of Civilian agencies which I developed an expertise of in order to create and deliver hour long streamlined sales pipeline development presentations for IT vendors vying in the federal space. I also produced targeted call lists, usually between 25-55 points of contact that I found through primary and secondary research along with strategic messaging. I have contributed to and created large scale industry briefings and webinars on the IT frameworks at major department-level agencies. My forte includes the IT infrastructure technology patch (Network Administration/Management software, Data Centers, Routers, Switches, etc) which I used to update internal and external stakeholders on paradigm shift trends, teaming opportunities and government IT insertion points. I regularly attended industry events and trainings to build relationships for business purposes.

I worked full-time as a market analyst and researcher for the immixGroup. I conducted both primary and secondary (open source) intelligence research on both prospective clients and on US Government organizations and opportunities. Additionally, I performed in depth interviews in support of the market intelligence organization. I also helped establish a market Intelligence wiki for the company’s use and updated a series of organizational charts on certain government agencies.

While at Invertix (Now Altamira), I worked full-time as an open source intelligence collection and analysis intern. I performed research projects on IEDs in Afghanistan, Political Developments in Bahrain, and Social Media in the Middle East. I supported research for Invertix on Nigeria and the Boko Haram terrorist group and researched GIS tools and methodologies to add to Invertix’s capabilities.
