With a background in classical music broadcasting and performance, I was very fortunate to lead Beethoven.com as Vice President from its start as a small Internet radio station to becoming the most listened to station on the Internet in its first six months of operation. During that time, I worked with webcasters to develop industry standards and practices as a member of the International Webcasters Association board of directors and later Executive Director.I have twice been invited by the United States Copyright Office to represent the industry on regulatory concerns and have been interviewed by numerous magazines and news programs, including NBC Nightly News, the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Time Magazine. I also regularly write articles published in trade magazines and industry newsletters. In December of 2003 I joined Net Radio Sales, a division of Aritaur Communications, to help build the first independent sales network for Internet radio stations. Net Radio Sales successfully became the largest Internet Radio sales network in the world and was acquired by Katz Radio Group in 2007.In 2006, I moved into online video as EVP of Business Development and later CTO for TV Worldwide where I helped develop unique Internet TV channels to reach highly targeted audiences. I was also responsible for production live video webcasts for a number of Fortune 500, government, and non-profit clients such as the National Television Academy's Emmy Awards and the White House.Currently, I am Vice President of Services for Discover Video providing training and support to our growing list of corporate, government, and education clients deploying our suite of encoding, transcoding, and media server solutions.I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Music (BA) from Anderson University and a Master of Music (MM) degree in composition from the Hartt School. In 2003, I was honored to be listed in the Digital Media 100 by Digital Media Magazine.
