Kevin Smith is Associate VP of the Allergan Practice Consulting Group & National Accounts, a specialty pharmaceutical company based in Irvine, California. Mr. Smith consults with Medical Aesthetic practices in the areas of financial analysis, strategic initiatives, business planning, marketing, human resource issues, practice efficiency, and other general practice management matters. Additional responsibilities include leading the team of National Account Managers & Allergan Practice Consultants. He is accountable for managing the Allergan Practice Consultant program as well as the National Account program. This includes: strategy, compliance, budget, program credentialing, coordination and management of training and resource development. Mr. Smith has more than 30 years of experience in sales, management, operations, and marketing. Prior to joining the Allergan Practice Consulting Group, Mr. Smith served as vice president of development and operations for two physician practice management companies. Before that, he worked for eight years with Allergan, Inc., including six years as a consultant with the Services Consulting Group in the company’s eye care division. In addition, Mr. Smith served as president of a regional telecommunications equipment and service company.He is a frequent guest lecturer for various medical practices, societies and organizations, as well as a contributing editor and author for a wide array of professional publications. Mr. Smith received his bachelor of science degree in marketing with a minor in accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
