Anika is a global biologics company at the forefront of tissue regeneration and wound healing. I am the lead architect responsible for developing Anika’s commercial capabilities in preparation for our 1st US product launch. I have 19 years of diverse commercial biopharmaceutical experience in the specialty space, which includes new product planning and multiple product launches. Anika is the third start-up specialty pharmaceutical manufacturer where I play a key leadership role developing a commercial organization from the ground up, while developing the multi-channel strategy and corresponding tactics to launch a new specialty product or managed injectable medication. Prior to joining Anika, I was a member of small leadership teams at both Alkermes and Collegium, responsible for building their commercial infrastructures and launching their first commercial products. In each organization, I was a member of a small cross functional leadership team that developed key commercial capabilities including distribution, sales operations, managed markets and trade, pricing, Payer, Physician and GPO contracting, all go-to-market strategies, and developing field sales capabilities. I have led marketing and strategy for multiple Brands, across HCP, Managed Markets & Trade, Government Affairs, LTC & Hospital. I have also led fulfillment groups, which carried the responsibility of leading a cross-function team charged with continuously improving fulfillment rates and time to fill in buy & bill, specialty pharmacy and retail channels. I developed strategies and tactics that successfully NDC blocked the market leader, removed step-edits and PAs which have provided unrestricted access to millions of Americans. I also led a team responsible for doubling product fulfillment rates, decreasing time-to-fill by 66%, and increasing persistency rates by over one month. At Ortho Biotech, & Roche, My sales teams were awarded Presidents Cup (top 5%) four times.
